Ophelia de Serres is Director of Ophelia's Love and Co-Founder of (Wo)Men Speak Out, a national organization dedicated to eradicating rape, sexual assault and gender violence. A public speaker, Ophelia draws from personal experience as a survivor of child sexual abuse, intimate partner violence and over 5 years as an Assaulted Women & Children's Advocate. Prior to serving on the AIM Board of Directors, Ophelia served as the Director of Operations for the Angela Shelton Foundation. She is a certified business development consultant, and a partner of PD Marketing, a national booking and publicity agency. A singer/songwriter, her music promotes the commonality and adversity that is faced by survivors in a format that transcends the listener. During her free time, Ophelia enjoys writing, rock climbing, meditation and yoga.
