Jackie lives in Kentucky, and is a certified K9 trainer, teaching obedience, service animal work, and rehabilitating abused dogs. She has been involved in animal rescue and training for over 10 years, using her platform as a way to incorporate education about trauma and its consequences into her classes. She is a recent graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where she studied Psychology and Gender Studies. Jackie has also worked closely with several groups who serve trauma survivors, including survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and hate crimes. She also works with at risk youth as a mentor at an alternative school. Jackie is also an artist, and uses art as an intricate part of her healing process.

Following her diagnosis, she discovered that there was very little accurate information about DID available, and even less opportunity to actually "meet" another human who was diagnosed with DID. She discovered An Infinite Mind in its very early stages through an online chat forum, and following that was a volunteer for the first Healing Together conference. She is proud to have the opportunity to work with such courageous, compassionate people, and looks forward to helping support, educate and eradicate the stigma that so often encompasses being diagnosed with DID.
